Our School Governors
Welcome from Chair of Governors
I am delighted to welcome you to the
Like all schools we are required to have a Board of Governors who are responsible for ensuring that the school is well run by the Head-teacher and staff, that its finances are handled properly, and providing direction for the school. Many Governors also regularly help out at the school with activities such as reading, dance, gardening club and residential trips.
Paulerspury currently has 15 Governors drawn from the local community, plus the head-teacher and a member of staff:

Community governors come from the local community, foundation governors represent St James the Great Church (Paulerspury is a Church of England school), the local education authority nominates two governors, and there are five parent governors who are elected for four years.
The School Governors meet twice a term (i.e. six times a year) and all meetings are minuted. Copies of minutes and other meeting papers are available from the School Office. Occasionally Governors need to discuss confidential items (for instance, about an individual pupil) and, although these meetings are minuted, the papers are confidential and not made available.
If you would like to contact a School Governor, please email bursar@paulerspury.northants-ecl.gov.uk or telephone the school office 01327 811674
Schools like Paulerspury don’t just happen. They take an immense
amount of time, commitment and hard work from all those involved in
the school. I would like to say a big thank you to all pupils, staff, parents and governors for making Paulerspury the great success that it is.
